Microsoft just published the first EBS Update Rollup for Essential Business Server 2008.
There is a Knowleadege Base article available to cover the most important changes/fixes:

Besides that there seem to be some minor changes/fixes not covered in detail by KB 961448.

The first one I found was that CAL license product keys that have been shown in full and clear text in EBS console prior to EBS UR1, now show up XXXed and only the last few digits shown to allow the admin to match them to the paper license:

This may be because of our EBSfaq.com and .de virtual environments where we give away free domain admin accounts to anyone and I buged the PG about the fact that everyone of those people may see the real keys in the EBS console prior to UR1.

I just confirmed that this "hidden CAL key" issue has not been because of the isntall of EBS UR1, but is a symthom of a corrupted license store in EBS. I am currently investigating this with the MS PG and will add a solution here as soon as we fully understand this issue.
